Our good friends Donna & Julian are pregnant! They wanted to surprise all their family and friends by posting a photo to Facebook etc to reveal the exciting news!
Donna wanted a photo with her close friends that clearly depicted everyone else having a blast while her new found responsibilities kick in.
Bobby Motta - A rare find.
I met Bobby when I was young. Believe it or not, Bobby, was my very first PAID gig! He gave me a chance when I had ZERO portfolio and let me shoot him for an entire branding overhaul. Trustworthy? Umm, ya.
Since then we have grown so close, we just consider each other family at this point. The stories, places and things we've seen / been. This portrait is to advertise Bobby's new Saturday night show at a dinner theatre in Toronto. Bobby is a mind reader / mentalist, so we wanted to showcase that in a fresh new light.
The cables hooked up to his head depict that of his mind being scanned and the ghosts behind him are what I like to think the result of being scanned and what may or may not have been found. His mind is filled with mystery! (And a whole lot of other sh*t!) Check him out every saturday night at D&Bs @ Hwy 7 & 400.
Whilst shooting the reboot photo of the Plaid Chair Series 2014, Jason adjusted his regulator and turned to look at me. The light was absolutely perfect. After shouting at him not to move an inch EVEN if a call came in, until I snapped this - He stood there like a stone and gave me enough time to snap this dramatic portrait.
I cant even imagine a job where this is something you have to do. We owe a big thanks to our first responders as they deal with, and go through things unimmaginable to a lot of us. Cheers, Jason.
Cyril is a world famous magician currently living and working out of Tokyo, Japan. He flew in to Toronto for a new set of portraits.
These particular images were a small piece of a larger set we created for his new live touring show. Cyril has many TV appearances and has been someone I have looked up to in the industry since I was younger. It was my absolute pleasure working with him.
Biull Abbott - A world class entertainer, commissioned me to help him create a campaign for his new live show "Every Trick In The Book".
We shot 4 30 second Vignettes, outlining the different segments of his comedy/magic show. TO go with the Poker Face Short, these images were taken to highlight each character at the table.
The "Playboy Bunny" - Fierce, but with attitude. Can you tell what she is holding? Call or Fold.
Let me tell you a little bit about Bill Abbott - An exceptional entertainer based out of Toronto, Ontario.
Bill has a phenomenal one man show called 'Every Trick In The Book" and it will leave you in stitches from constant laughter and comedy that only ceases fire when re loading. The magic is also, top notch and will most certainly send you home needing to stop at your local Rexall for a pack of extra strength's.
it was my absolutel pleasure to shoot Bill (with a camera) - I think we captured his essence brilliantly. How good is your poker face?
Meet Gabriel. One of the nicest guys I know! The only thing about Gabriel that I am on the fence about is his abundant love for the android platform ;)
During an urban Exploration of this abandoned farm house, Gabriel rigs up the GoPro head mount and a headlamp for 100% coverage.
Storm is coming in, get that waterproof housing on!
What an exceptional artist this man is.
I have worked with SO many individuals. Giving direction is among top of what I need to do on a shoot, to get the result I want both in photo and Cinema. This man, was a walk in the park.
The mannerisms, faces and exaggerated expressions that came from Paul in the time we worked together, were flawless. It was truly something special to watch. This is one of my favourites. Can you tell what he is holding? Is that a bluff? Or a sure fire tell.
One of my new favourite people! I Love it when I learn things about people that blow me away. Whilst spending time with Deni setting up the poker room, I learned that Deni, is an exceptional vocalist. He just released a new Album on iTunes, and it is top notch. Think Jack Johnson, but not sh*t!
not only is he a talented musician, but he is also a BEAST behind an easel. What do I mean? I'll tell you - The guy paints like a pro. no joke.
Deni was super fun to work with and we got to hang out late into the early hours of the next morning. Lots of laughs, and some questionable onion rings.
Cheers, Deni! An absolute pleasure!
A dear friend and fellow creative, Daniel and I have spent time all over the world from London to San Francisco, New York to Vegas. Daniel and I collaborate on some one of a kind projects and started our very own brand of playing cards, distributed world widfe called KINGS.

I simply, do not have enough kind words to say about Blake.
I met Blake this year, although we have crossed paths several times before over the past few years in different parts of the world.
Blake flew up to work on a few projects with me, and as a result, we did a small photo shoot for him. I was extremely floored when he mentioned to me that he wanted to use these shots for his debut in MAGIC Magazine. Blake made the cover of the september 2014 issue of MAGIC - and this was the cover shot. My excitement is through the roof both for Blake, and the fact we got to feature this image!
I am blessed to know such an individual. Blake has so much to offer, and I can't wait to explore more of his creativity. Cheers, Blake!
One of my best friends, Dr. Ramsey is THE coolest dentist on the planet. I mean, c'mon, look at the guy. Guarantee your dentist does not look as baller as this gentlemen here.
He flew in from Palm Beach Gardens FL for this quick shoot, we had some delicious mexican food in the city and home he went!
My friend Adam Wilber created a device that straps to your wrist and shoots balls of fire. What?! Yes Please!
Below is a promotional Image to advertise the product otherwise known as ' PYRO '
This is Zlatko. An Eastern European die maker living here in Canada doing his trade old school. An incredible die maker still using only his hands with no aid from CNC's.
Zlatko has helped me construct several pieces for my other business, Montgomery Leatherworks. He has a pretty amazing shop filled with tools, machinery and a great vibe of hard work and dedication.
A friend and fellow filmmaker, meet Justin. Justin works for Apple. Justin has had a few photo exhibitions and recently put out a short film. We drink coffee and eat burgers together. He also fixes my computers when they break :)
Soho, New York City 2015
Armed with a blow torch and a fire axe, Frank is ready to take on the incoming heard of zombies approaching his creepy victorian house.
In reality, Frank works at an auto body shop, and there are no zombies, nor is there a victorian house. I actually don't even know this man. Whilst shooting a Plaid Chair photo for the 2014 series for a friend of mine, Frank wandered in. I immediately envisioned THIS photo. Asked if I could take his portrait, he agreed.
There you have it. Zombie Apocalypse. I asked Frank if he could make the creepiest gface he hew knew how to make. He had no problem doing so. Mission accomplished. This photo terrify's me as much as Im sure it terrifys you. Cheers, Frank!
What can I say about Bill that hasn't already been said?
It isn't very often that two artists can collaborate effortlessly and think along the same lines. Not only that but, being able to take something from two heads and actually deliver content from it is something that is truly exciting.
Bill & I have a great vibe together. We just keep rolling out idea after idea. No wonder before actually starting a shoot, we sat out on a rooftop balcony with drinks discussing and brainstorming for hours before getting to a much delayed shoot!
Bill's new show 'Every Trick In The Book" Starts Friday Sept 12th at Dave & Busters In Vaughan at 8pm. Every Friday night. be sure to check it out - A Great show, and he will leave you in stiches from uncontrollable laughter.
As a photographer, a self portrait is often a subject many of us play around with from time to time.
With this particular portrait, obviously being an advocate of strobe's and the like - I wanted to create something that was (for those who know me) clearly me - but failed to show any identifying features. I.e. face, tattoos, etc.
The hair, is more than likely the only noticeable feature that what you are looking at IS actually me. Shadows & strobes are an extremley exciting field to play in.
I learned a lot from this man. Appreciate the little things. Wayan drove me all over the island of Bali for two days so I could capture its beauty without missing a beat. For that, I will always be greatful!
